There is a lot of foot traffic coming in and out of my house, and most of it is wearing heavy boots. I live in Wisconsin where it is cold in the winter, and there is snow on the ground. Whenever I think of the park in the community that I lived in when I was a child, I think of wrought iron benches. These practical objects have grown into icons of childhood play for me and my siblings.
